Asti, Piemonte

Costigliole d’Asti lies halfway between the cities of Asti and Alba, the first being famous for it’s Barbera and Moscato, whilst the second is famous for it’s white truffles. Only a few kilometres from Costigliole are the towns of Barolo and Barbaresco, the wines of which are famous throughout the world.

The Boeri wine estate was established around 1900 when the great-grandfather of the current owners, Alfonso Boeri, began growing vines on the slopes of Bricco Quaglia. In all these years, starting with great-grandfather Alfonso, grandfather Giovanni and father of the current owners, Alfonso, each generation passed onto the next one passion for winemaking: for the hard work it entails and for the immense satisfactions its brings.

Boeri intervene so rarely and carefully in the vineyard shows their commitment to “natural” winemaking: one that allows the seasons, the terroir and the weather to determine the special and distinctive flavors of each wine each year.
